Dining at Café Martorano |
All three restaurants with modern looks have upped the inviting vibe by featuring mounted flatscreen TV’s showing movies, while Martorano still spins Classic R&B and Classic Rock on a sound system that rivals the finest clubs of Las Vegas and South Beach.
“We still combine the freshest food with the best in music, film and television, but we’ve taken that experience to a new level just like the menu,” said Martorano. “It’s a modern cool atmosphere that allows us maintain our welcome-to-my family vibe while re-inventing ourselves and raising the bar once again.” |
Menu |
The new menu, developed exclusively by Martorano, features his unique touches on dishes like grilled octopus with Meyer lemons, Sicilian rice balls with prosciutto di parma and buffalo mozzarella and braised pig’s feet, among others.
While some things change, others will always remain the same as guests can still find classics like the meatball appetizer that Gourmet magazine claimed may be the best meatball in the world.
“Some things are tried and true like our meatballs and San Marzano tomato Sunday gravy, but we’ve added a lot of new tasting plates so guests can experience a little bit of everything – from veal and fresh mozzarella stuffed hot peppers to a new stewed calamari with peas,” said Martorano. “The success of Martoranos is due to quality, consistency and hard work.”
